Operation Linebacker • 1972
By 1972, Hanoi had become one of the Most heavily defended skies on earth.
The challenge wasn't finding the target.
It was getting everyone there. Every mile had to be earned.
Operation Linebacker proved that the strike package had become the weapon. For one of the first times in history, victory belonged to the package, not the pilot.
