FABRIC

This is 100% cotton, woven lightweight for warm-weather comfort. The slub yarn creates small, natural variations in the fabric, giving it a little texture and character instead of a perfectly flat, factory-smooth finish.

Bottom line: it is breathable, comfortable and has enough structure to hang like a good shirt without feeling heavy.

The Quick Specs

  • 100% cotton
  • Lightweight woven fabric
  • 140 GSM fabric weight
  • Natural slub texture
  • Breathable and comfortable

Care

Machine wash cold with similar colors to help preserve the artwork and prevent fading. Reshape while damp and line dry for the longest color life, or tumble dry on low heat for everyday ease. Do not bleach.

Wrinkles happen. Iron inside out using low to medium heat, increasing the temperature only as needed. Avoid leaving the iron in one spot for too long.

MADE TO ORDER

Every All Ranks shirt is printed, cut and sewn after you order it. By making shirts one at a time instead of filling a warehouse with inventory, we can carry more aircraft, honor more units and keep more aviation stories in circulation, including the ones that may never become mass-market bestsellers.

The tradeoff is time. Please allow 7–14 days for production before shipping. Standard shipping time is additional and begins once your shirt leaves the facility.

Need it for a special occasion? Give yourself plenty of time. These are not last-minute shirts. They are stories worth waiting for.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

Your shirt is made after you order it, so please allow 7–14 days for production before shipping. Standard shipping time is additional. We will send tracking information as soon as your shirt is on the way.

Delivery dates are estimates, and carrier delays can happen. If you need your shirt for a special occasion, give it plenty of runway.

Need a different size? We offer one size exchange within 30 days of delivery. The shirt must be unworn, unwashed and returned in its original condition. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Since every shirt is made to order, we do not accept general returns for a change of mind. Shirts that have been washed, dried, worn or altered cannot be exchanged.

Did we miss something? Inspect your shirt before washing it. If it arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the shirt, packaging and shipping label. Transit damage should be reported within 72 hours. If the problem is ours, we will make it right.

Small differences in color and artwork placement are normal with individually printed, cut and sewn shirts and are not considered defects.

Please review your size and shipping address carefully before ordering. Changes and cancellations are not guaranteed once production begins.

Pay Tribute

The legendary F-14 Tomcat carried the black tails from the Cold War through Iraqi Freedom.

The Jolly Rogers became the Navy's first fleet-qualified F-14 TARPS squadron, helping redefine the Tomcat, cementing the skull and crossbones as a Naval Aviation icon.

Raise Your Glass

Here's to every Jolly Roger who carried the black tails into the record books and cemented their place among Naval Aviation's finest. May every adversary watch the horizon darken like a black tide and have reason to FEAR THE BONES!

Behind the Design

F-14A Tomcat

The original Tomcat put a two-person crew and long-range missiles between an aircraft carrier and approaching threats.

Jolly Rogers

The story began with Corsair crews fighting over the Solomon Islands in World War II. As squadrons closed, others took up the Jolly Rogers name and skull-and-crossbones, keeping the tradition flying through Crusaders, Phantoms, Tomcats and Super Hornets. Today, VFA-103 carries that heritage forward.

VF-84 | 1960–1995

This Navy fighter squadron carried the Jolly Rogers tradition from carrier combat to the black-tailed F-14 Tomcat.

Jolly Rogers Skull and Crossbones Insignia

The Jolly Rogers skull-and-crossbones emblem carries a Navy fighter tradition from wartime Corsairs to today’s Super Hornets.
