909th Air Refueling Squadron

The Young Tigers extend aircraft range across the Pacific and help carry patients to care aboard their KC-135 Stratotankers

About the Organization

Based at Kadena Air Base, Japan, the 909th Air Refueling Squadron keeps U.S. and allied aircraft flying farther over the Pacific. Its KC-135s also carry patients, with medical care provided by the 18th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. The Young Tigers' motto, “Always There,” connects these two missions.
