Kadena Tanker's

Kadena Air Base is home to the 909th Air Refueling Squadron, which operates KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft. These tankers provide vital aerial refueling support to the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and allied aircraft in the Indo-Pacific theater. The 909th AMU (Aircraft Maintenance Unit) ensures the KC-135s are combat-ready, maintaining their ability to refuel aircraft during peacetime operations and various levels of conflict.
